So let me tell you a little about St. Peter's. We are a small Church of England Primary school set in the lovely village of West Hanningfield, close to the reservoir and the two local churches of the communities we serve. Everyone in our school belongs to, and is a part of, our happy and caring, Christian 'school family'. In this small and secure setting every child is treated as a unique and special individual where there is the opportunity to develop particular talents and skills, and also where time is given in supporting and encouraging children to persevere at any area of the curriculum or school life that is more challenging for them.
Working together is a major factor of successful education, and so we welcome parental and community involvement in all we do. There is always a warm welcome at school for every parent to share in all aspects of their child's development.
We are very proud of our school environment; the large field for playtimes and for sports, our well- equipped classrooms, the dedicated staff and our many clubs and activities, but most of all, we are proud of our happy, enthusiastic, involved and caring children.
If you need more information, our prospectus is on the website or please ring Mandy or Julia in the school office (01245 400327) who will both be happy to answer any of your questions. The best way of course, is to come and see us. Give Julia a ring and make an appointment; I always welcome a chance to show people around our lovely school.
