St. Peter's PTA Committee are a dedicated team of parents who work together to raise funds for the school. We try to involve as many people as possible and at present have a very respectable 22 members on the Committee - not bad considering we are only a school of 103 pupils!
We try to organise varied events every year, most of which are aimed at the children's enjoyment with one or two just for the grown-ups!
Thousands of pounds have been raised over the years, all for the good of the school and our children, with profits going to projects such as visiting artists, workshops for the children and funds towards the new play equipment installed in 2009 we contributed to a new surface for the playground in 2011 we brought some new furniture for Class 2 and a few useful utensils for Cookery Classes. In 2013 we were able to contribute to the costs of the new classroom . In 2014 we paid for the Tyre play area in the playground
All new parents are welcome to join the PTA committee which is a great way of making new friends, as well as providing extra benefits for the children.
